- . Design Coordination • Coordinate all design development and approval processes to ensure they align with project requirements and standards. 2. Schedule Adherence • Monitor and enforce adherence to the agreed-upon schedule for design development and shop drawings with subcontractors, ensuring timely progress. 3. Drawing Management • Establish and implement a comprehensive drawing management system to organize and track design-related documents. 4. Contract Review • Review contract documents and provide technical expertise to the project manager on matters affecting construction, including technical methodologies and their impact on time and cost. 5. Technical Queries • Prepare and manage technical queries, addressing them with the client and consultants to ensure clarity and resolution. 6. Method Statements • Assist in the preparation of method statements and procedures related to construction, both structural and architectural, offering technical insights and features for work aspects. 7. Drawing Approval • Coordinate the approval of drawings and take responsibility for distributing approved drawings for construction to relevant site personnel. 8. Quality and Safety • Collaborate with site engineers to ensure that all work execution meets the required quality and safety standards. Resolve technical issues across all trades promptly. 9. Subcontractor Management • Support the project manager in overseeing subcontractor works, identifying and addressing any technical deviations as they arise. 10. Quantity Take-Off • Assist in quantity take-off activities for tenders, contributing to accurate project cost estimations.
